In ELSA we concentrate on the "things they do well" and explore new goals by breaking them down into small SMART manageable targets.
We also explore the word "Unique", how each person is "One of a kind" and special.
The children create a book titled, All about me book, which they add work to as they continue through ELSA, they then can reflect on the goals they have already accomplished.
Often we support this learning with reward charts and always with positive reinforcement!
