Working Together

This week we have been looking at

Working Together

We can achieve more when we work together.

We can share our ideas when we work together.

We can go above and beyond with our learning

when we all work together.

Our Recipe for Friendship

Our ELSA Stars have been very busy helping me create our friendship display.

This half term our topic has been friendship.
What makes a good friend?
How can we be a good friend to others?

We have been reading "Have you filled a bucket today?"
To be a bucket filler means you are being a good friend.

Please click the link below for the "Have you filled a bucket?"story.

It might give you some ideas on becoming a great friend.

Our recipe for friendship

This week we have been looking at friendship.
We have been making our own recipes for friendship cakes.
Together we decided on the most important ingredients that go into good friendships.

Understanding           Forgiveness        Love            Honesty

                 Sharing                Giving             Respect

               and   Working Together

Then we mixed them all together for the best friendship cakes ever!

Come and see our friendship display in the ELSA room.

Smartie Bingo

Who doesn't like smarties?

This is a fab game to get children to talk about their emotions.
We often play this game in ELSA, and you can use it at home, just follow the link below to download and print out.

Don't worry the children only get eight smarties each!

Body Language

We have been looking at body language this week, it helps us understand how somebody else feels.

We watched the video and then took it in turns to show different emotions, the group had to guess how we were feeling by looking at our body language.
We found out that it's not just our faces that can show emotions, our whole body can.
